Sprint Education is a fast-growing education marketing scale-up based in Gloucestershire with 30+ employees and 600+ customers in the UK and abroad.

Sprint's core service is to help businesses connect with stakeholders within the education sector and enable them to deliver their world-class education solutions into schools via managed marketing strategy services, and software - ‘Campus’.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Leadership Team and will be instrumental in designing and implementing content, strategy, and team management, as we push to cement our position as undisputed leaders in the edu-marketing and communications sector.

You will work closely with our internal team members to plan, create, and distribute exciting marketing content that generates leads for our strategy team, with a clear focus on aggressive scaling of brand awareness and lead generation.

You will have the opportunity to create and be instrumental in major strategic decisions, so a self-starting attitude and ability to think strategically is key.

You'll be responsible for

  • Development of specific and targeted marketing and communication plans.
  • Working directly with our Leadership Team to execute our developing brand/awareness marketing as we begin to test existing and new channels.
  • Leading an award-winning and growing team of marketers, copywriters, and designers.
  • Developing specific market intelligence and customer insight data, including competitor and brand analysis to drive appropriate marketing, communications, and product development.
  • Owning the lifecycle journey from web visitor to sales lead.
  • Growing net lifetime value (LTV) of customers.
  • Increasing levels of quality lead generation.
  • Supporting international expansion.
  • Driving business growth from new customers and our active customer bases, ensuring the increasing efficiency of marketing spend and ROI.

You have, you are, you can

  • 3+ years’ experience in a senior role as a Marketing Director.
  • A hungry and creative work ethic.
  • Proven success driving customer acquisition strategies.
  • Hands-on experience of key performance channels (website content and optimisation, blogging, email marketing, Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn, SEO, Google).
  • Proven success at a lead generation business, collaborating with a sales team.
  • A highly analytical brain: you love numbers and spreadsheets and are very proficient on Sheets/Excel. You have a great facility for assembling data from multiple sources (e.g. combining CRM and ads data).
  • An ability to put together crystal clear reporting that drives real insights from data.
  • Strong thought-leadership.
  • An independent work ethic, with a bias towards action.
  • Demonstrated expertise marketing SAAS products and/or agency services.
  • Strong CRM skills.
  • A clear communicator of strategies and concepts, with the ability to be a challenger and market-changer.
  • A progressive performance marketeer with a track record of building high-growth businesses through effective marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrate the ability, determination, and tenacity to move major initiatives forward, injecting pace and focus, whilst driving ROI.
  • A history of successfully leading, building, and managing a team.
  • Worked successfully with a diverse team of colleagues - including in-house, remote freelancers, and external agencies, plus a mixture of remote and in-office.
  • A proven history of developing impactful and effective marketing campaigns.

It would be super-good to have

(although not essential)

  • Experience working within the world of education.
  • Creative writing skills, blog writing experience.
  • 2:1 degree qualification or equivalent.
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills, and have examples of your design work.
