With school budgets due to be released in the next couple of months now is the time to be planning exactly how to promote your company to take advantage of this important sales period.

Here at Sprint Education many of us were once budget holders in schools so we know exactly what is required to tempt a budget holder!

There are some extremely important factors that you must consider when selling to these teachers/staff with decision making powers, and our team of ex-budget holders have come up with 5 top tips to help you get on your way to securing bigger sales from the new budgets.

1. High-end products/services are planned early in the financial year; make sure
your marketing material is on their laps at this point so you can be considered.

2. Quality! You must ensure that every email, letter, and brochure a teacher
receives from you is of the highest quality both in content, design, materials
and even how it reached them. It represents the quality of what you are trying
to sell. Shared postal mail is a big turn off.

3. Make it super easy to order from you. Delivery should be as quick as possible.

4. Always offer to call so you can answer any questions they might have.

5. Price isn’t always at the forefront of the budget holder’s mind. If you can communicate
the benefits clearly enough they will find the money to buy from you.

Budgets to state schools are traditionally released around Easter time so if you want to discuss your marketing strategy in more detail before then call Jackie on 01684 297374 or go to www.sprint-mail.co.uk.
